Dr. Yau is an incredible plastic surgeon. I went to see her to have reconstruction due to breast cancer. The mastectomy surgeon and Dr. Yau decided the best option would be to have the mastectomy and reconstruction done at the same time. This eliminated my need for multiple surgeries. She is smart and serious in her work and she put my safety and health above all else. While patient consults are necessary to perform the surgery I could tell that her skills truly shine in the operating room as her true passion is surgery and she was absolutely meticulous in every aspect. My stitches were so tiny that right after surgery I could really see a desirable result despite needing to still have healing time. She was honest and prepared me for all aspects, even at times when I wasn't thrilled with the natural consequences of having breast cancer I really appreciated that she was upfront and in many ways almost seemed to take the stance of "under promise and over deliver". It felt like she really lowered my expectations pre surgery and made sure I understood that plastic surgery post mastectomy will never look like a simple implant surgery but in that way I was so pleasantly surprised. My reconstruction is perfect and it all really worked out. I am incredibly happy with the results. Her up front manner did help in the long run and her skills are truly incredible!!

I first met Dr. Yau back in 2017 when I was inquiring about a breast reduction after one of my best friends had an amazing experience with her. At the time, due to personal reasons, I decided not to move forward. Fast forward to early 2025, after having two children and losing weight, I knew I wanted a breast lift with a slight reduction, and without hesitation, I knew Dr. Yau was still the one I wanted to see. Seeing her again nearly 8 years later, she looked just as beautiful as I remembered, if not more! (a little side note I just have to add). And speaking of her team, I cannot put into words how essential they were in creating such an incredible experience. During a time when I honestly felt like I was going through a bit of an identity crisis, they made me feel completely cared for, heard, and supported. Recovery felt almost too good to be true. Dr. Yau's nurse, Heather was always just a text away, even on weekends late at night when I never expected a quick response, she was there. That level of care and accessibility made all the difference. THANK YOU for everything, Heather!! The entire process of getting my breasts done was nothing short of amazing, so much so that I went ahead and booked a few more procedures immediately after. I cannot recommend Dr. Yau and her team enough. They truly go above and beyond, and I'm beyond grateful for the confidence and joy they've given back to me.

From Day 1, I felt in the utmost, best care with Dr. Yau and her two angels - Michelle & Heather. Each visit was truly uplifting going to their office with all of their positive energy and kindness.
