Choosing the right implants for you
Breast implants are made of either silicone or saline, both with a soft silicone shell that ensures safety and longevity. Approved by Health Canada and the FDA, modern implants offer a natural feel and appearance. Silicone implants, filled with cohesive gel, have the added benefit of maintaining shape even if ruptured, while saline implants are filled with salt water that the body naturally absorbs if leakage occurs. Scar placement

What to expect during your breast augmentation procedure?
Breast augmentation is typically performed under general anesthesia in an outpatient setting, allowing patients to return home the same day. The surgery takes approximately 2 hours.
During the procedure, Dr. Yau will create a carefully crafted pocket for the implant, ensuring it is positioned for the most natural and symmetrical appearance. Dissolvable stitches are used to close the incisions, allowing for a seamless recovery process.
Recovering after breast augmentation

After surgery, patients may experience some soreness and fatigue for the first few days, but most can return to work within 7 to 10 days. A surgical bra is provided to minimize swelling and support the healing breasts.
